Satire

Satire means to correct someones work or action but in a humorist way, its just an innocent suggestion or more like an advice on how to change a mistake or misunderstanding on how you should handle a situation. For example in a article called Satire there was a student called Taylor Mali that was humiliated by his teacher because Mali have errors in his paper. being satirized doesn't honestly that your life will be over just because a little insult, I consider it more a reality check to work harder. But it could hurt a persons feelings the way its being said but every one need take it in and go over what they did wrong. In Mali he really should thank his professor because Mali being satirized at that moment could of changed his life. Mali probably changed his ways in proof reading his work and worked was better than before. Taylor Mali also agreed when a person give advice on a correction, the person that's being corrected shouldn't feel offended. Sometimes its intend is not on any offensive. Instead twain explains that everyone should just acknowledge their mistakes and just change what they did wrong. But in twain speech he speaks of obeying your parents, Also superiors, Going to bed early, Lying, Handling firearms carelessly, And reading books. I picked this cartoon because woulds can sometime result as a verbal attack. It could hurt another way without any physical contact. People sometimes take advice as a insult not knowing it could benefit them in the future. I personally have that problem myself. Not wanting to hear anything, over all i was convinced that i know everything. But this word Satire changed my understand around, And i took it as a wake up call. satire could happen with anything, even something little like leaving the toilet sit up. In this cartoon this shows how being satirized could be a smack or a punch to the face. It just shows that its a wake up call so someone could see their wrongs. Thats what being satirized means, People cant take it in a wrong way because its advice to help someone in the future.
